I have a little prayer book in which I have written down the names of my family, close friends, and all those I am led to or have been asked to pray for. In total, it’s about 25 people. It takes approximately an hour and a half to pray through the list, lifting each person up to the Lord and allowing the Spirit to guide my prayers for them. For some, I make specific requests as I am aware of their struggles. Many of the people on my list face real challenges – circumstances that, truthfully, only God can resolve. When problems persist What fascinates me, however, is that after a few months, I ask or observe whether their situation has changed. More often than not, they are still struggling…

George Orwell poignantly captured the essence of profound loneliness – not as the absence of people, but the absence of understanding: “The most terrible loneliness is not the kind that comes from being alone, but the kind that comes from being misunderstood. It is the loneliness of standing in a crowded room, surrounded by people who do not see you, who do not hear you, who do not know the true essence of who you are. And in that loneliness, you feel as though you are fading, disappearing into the background, until you are nothing more than a ghost, a shadow of your former self.”This kind of loneliness can afflict anyone – even those surrounded by others, where the outer appearance masks an inner turmoil of feeling unseen and unknown.…
We’ve been experiencing severe power issues in the area where we live. As a result, my fridge recently broke due to a power surge. Given my financial situation, I didn’t have the necessary funds to have my fridge repaired or replaced. I cried out to the Lord for His help. In desperation, I made a post on my Facebook page, and within an hour, someone contacted me. I then posted in one of our local WhatsApp groups, looking to buy a fridge. A lady contacted me, and we agreed on a price for a fridge she wanted to sell. That evening, she and her…
