Google will soon let you hide adverts in its search results, but only after you’ve seen them.
Currently, Google labels each paid result as ‘Sponsored’. But it will soon show a section at the top of results, with a single, larger label that stays in view as you scroll.
You can click a button at the bottom of the section to ‘hide’ the sponsored results (see screenshot right), but you’ll have to scroll through them first.
Google said this button lets you “collapse text ads with a single click” if you want to see only “organic” (unpaid) results (www.snipca.com/56665).
