On average I sew most days. I used to sew purely to amuse myself but now I sew for a number of reasons; some days I deal with that better than others. There is no worse a feeling, well in terms of being creative, then having your desire to make just disappear, or as those in the know like to say “losing your sewjo”. Sadly, there’s no hard and fast rule for getting your sewjo back (I know, I can hear the sighs of disappointment from here). The Pantone Color of the Year is always an announcement I look forward to. It’s fun to see how the chosen colours grow in popularity throughout the year, as seen with recent winners Marsala, Radiant Orchid and Emerald.
