You need to transfer, or burn, the disk contents to a CD or a USB stick and boot into the safe environment through one of those mediums. Take a Snapshot Setting up Windows, installing the drivers, updates and programs takes a fair amount of time. If you take a VirtualBox snapshot, you can return to where you left off in an instant. STEP 1 To begin with open VirtualBox. If it’s already open, shutdown the Windows VirtualBox image you created. It’s not necessary but it’s often easier, to ensure the VM is closed prior to creating a snapshot.
