Short of something to read on a recent flight home, I picked up issue 302 and it was a complete surprise. If the old FFT felt like a club programme, this had the feel of a passionate and irreverent fanzine, coupled with some quality football journalism. I enjoyed James Horncastle’s piece about Andrea Pirlo. What could have been a slight piece on clothes became an insightful portrait of the man, on and off the pitch, and a short study of the importance of style in Italy.
