Jobs saved as caravan dealer goes into administration
Robinsons Caravans, a caravan dealer that traded at two sites in Chesterfield and Worksop, was placed into administration on March 14.
Robinsons also owned Golden Castle Caravans near Tewksbury, which was also placed into administration.
However, Golden Castle Caravans was immediately sold to Gloucestershire Leisure, with 17 members of staff transferring to the new owner as part of the deal.
Meanwhile, Robinsons Caravans, which held the franchise for brands including Bailey, Coachman, Elddis and Swift caravans and Bailey motorhomes, remained in hands of the administrator, Interpath Advisory.
Following its appointment, Interpath also sold parts of the Robinsons Caravans business and its assets to a Storebon Holdings Limited, part of the Couplands Caravans group.
