Alfa Romeo has ambitious plans to be an all-electric brand, and its second EV is the new Junior, a fivedoor compact crossover, and Alfa’s smallest SUV. (Originally, it was named the Milano, but Italian politicians complained, as it’s made in Poland.) The 156bhp base model, Elettrica, with a 250-mile range, is due to arrive in the autumn. The launch edition is the top model, the Veloce – a “great little car”.
