FRED BEAR, PERHAPS THE MOST FAMOUS bowhunter ever, gained fame through two achievements: perfecting the mass production of bows, and hunting big game around the world on numerous expeditions to Alaska, Yukon, Africa, South America, Asia, and other far-flung regions.
