A stranded Phoenix motorist is lucky to be alive after she was attacked by two suspects, on the M41, near the Phoenix off-ramp last Friday night.
Carol-Anne Nair, 47, was travelling from La Lucia to her Unit 7 home after work, when her 1993 Toyota Corolla “switched off”.
Nair said: “I was driving in the left lane, near a bridge, in the vicinity of a storage company, when the car suddenly switched off. At the time, I was stuck in traffic and was afraid that another car would hit me from behind.”
She said she immediately called her friend, Clive Veerasamy, for assistance, but he could only get to her in an hour.
