According to a new study, the eyes may accurately predict the onset of mind robbing Alzheimer’s disease long before actual symptoms appear. Researchers from the University of California, San Diego focused on pupil responses in the eyes in a group of 1,119 men between the ages of 56 and 66. In those with no signs of Alzheimer’s, except for a genetic predisposition to the disease, the pupils dilated more quickly and more drastically while solving a puzzle, the scientists found.
