LUCAS Abraham is officially the coolest kid in class! The courageous 6-year-old Kentucky kid was born without fingers on his right hand, but thanks to his new “robohand,” Lucas is wowing everybody! Bioengineering students at the University of Louisville created colorful robotic hands for Lucas — using a 3-D PRINTER — and the boy was all too eager to show them off. “What the students have done is to basically develop a prosthetic hand that is adaptable to Lucas’ hands,” says bioengineering professor Gina Bertocci.
