THERE’S a revised Lexus ES in showrooms now, priced from £35,905. Just one powertrain is on offer – a 215bhp 2.5-litre petrol hybrid, badged 300h, with the line-up starting in basic ES trim.
This includes 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated seats and a suite of electronics including all-round parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are incorporated into the eight-inch infotainment set-up, while sat-nav is an option as part of a larger 12.3-inch multimedia system.
Premium Edition (£36,555) has this as standard, as well as 18-inch alloys, wireless charging and a heated steering wheel. The Premium Pack (£41,015) adds vented leather front seats, pedestrian detection and 360-degree cameras.
