As spring arrives, Andrea Curtis’s home comes into its own. As if waking up from a long slumber, the spring light flooding through the windows bounces off the painted walls and makes the home feel crisp and bright.
This is, unsurprisingly, Andrea’s favourite season. “I love how the house and garden come alive after the long winter. I look forward to a good spring clean, enjoying the process and taking the opportunity to rearrange furniture, move plants around and change soft furnishings for lighter versions,” explains Andrea, who lives in the colourful five-bedroom Victorian semi in Bridgend, South Wales, with her husband Alistair and daughters, Carys, 24, and Grace, 18, their pet cats, Storm and Roxy, and their cavapoochon, Charlie.
