Record audio messages
There’s an easy way to record audio messages on your PC, which you can then share with others. Windows 7 and 8 have a built-in Sound Recorder tool, while Windows 10 has a Voice Recorder app. First, you need to make sure your PC has a mic connected to it (most laptops have a built-in one).
In Windows 7 and 8, search for sound recorder, open it, and you’ll see a small panel with a Start Recording button, a timer and a green volume indicator. Click Start Recording, record your message, then click Stop Recording. You’ll now see the option to rename the file and save it.
