I first moved to this country from Zimbabwe in 2006 to pursue my dreams of becoming a teacher. The moment I arrived, I loved everything about the UK. Everyone was so kind. But the one thing that really stood out to me was the lack of homeless children. In Zimbabwe, there is a serious issue with homeless children, who are either ill or disabled. Very quickly, I realised that I needed to help the youngsters back home in any way I could. I rallied some of my friends and told them that I wanted to help the homeless and sick children - so they have a chance at a better life.
