Regardless of whether you own, or have owned, one of their models, the ongoing situation with KTM is heart wrenching. In a video released just before Christmas (coincidentally, or not, on the same day as the beleaguered company's first creditors' meeting, in which they announced plans to leave MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 as part of their proposed restructuring, see page 4) the fun-loving Austrian firm confirmed they would be “rising stronger” and are “here to stay”. The two-minute montage replayed them triumphing over adversity, on road and off, such as Brad Binder's slicks-in-wet Austrian GP win, all with a rousing narration (“If you get knocked down… get back up”, “When others quit, you rise…”) Really stirring stuff, and for me it reinforced just what a massive part of motorcycling KTM…
