The sheer time and effort that goes into each piece is breath-taking, but can also be a little intimidating if you're new to the craft. Autumn has been my favourite season for as long as I can remember, and what’s not to love? The trees put on their annual show with their gorgeous hues of crimson and golden yellow. The cooler temperature ushers in sweater weather, campfires, trick-or-treating and pumpkin carving. And perhaps best of all? Warm and cosy quilts. There’s no better time to put those quilting skills to use! When choosing an autumn colour palette, I tend to think of those golden yellows, candy apple reds, deep orange hues and earthy browns. First things first, I get to work finding the perfect hero print for my bundle, and I quickly decide upon Baum from Leah Duncan’s new line No Place Like Home.
