MOST JENGA BLOCKS STACKED ON ONE VERTICAL JENGA BLOCK Stacking a bunch of Jenga blocks is nerve wracking enough already, but Tai Star Valianti from Arizona, USA, recently took his Jenga skills to the next level. He broke a record on May 13, 2020 after stacking 485 blocks on one single vertical standing Jenga block! The previous record was actually also held by Tai, for 353 blocks in January 2019. This time, Tai only stopped at 485 blocks because he had used all of the Jenga blocks he had at the time! Perhaps Tai will break his own record again soon! CREATURE NEWS Scientists around the world have recently found that some Australian animals glow under UV light! ‘Biofluorescence’ was previously known to affect some insects and sea creatures, but a team at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, USA discovered the phenomenon in platypuses! The team released a research paper about the discovery in October 2020, and other scientists began to search for biofluorescence in other animals. The Western Australian Museum found that wombats also glow under UV light! RECORD NEWS A gentoo penguin at Odense Zoo in Denmark has set a Guinness World Record for the oldest living penguin in captivity.
