LET’S SPEAK UP It was refreshing to read about feelings other people have experienced in Embrace Your Inner Impostor (20 May). To be successful at work there is often pressure to play the corporate game, suppressing your real personality and pretending to be something else. It’s hardly surprising that this causes stress, anxiety and puts mental health at risk. In my senior corporate role, I try to meet expectations, yet I still worry what others think of me and feel inadequate. It’s unhealthy and has to stop. IT’S THE MOST successful show on ITV2, but the last two months have seen the tide of public opinion turn on the hugely popular series Love Island . First came calls for an overhaul of the reality dating show and its approach to the aftercare and psychological support of its young contestants.
