There are significant compromises with the Motorola Edge 30 Neo that explain why this Android smartphone costs only £300. For example, it has a modest 128GB of storage, there’s no microSD card slot to expand this, and its 4,020mAh battery that left it lagging behind rivals in our battery test (it still lasted over 17 hours when playing video, but other similar models can exceed 20).
Physically, though, it feels like a more expensive phone. The design is sublime, from the subtle grain effect on the rear (pictured below), which makes the plastic look like brushed aluminium, to the bundled transparent protective case.
