This is really interesting and slightly surprised me – I thought there'd be some positive outcomes from taking multivitamins. I'm not the biggest advocate for supplements, but we need vitamins, and we know that quite a lot of people have quite poor diets and are probably therefore a bit deficient in a few things, like vitamin D. This study, though, involved people taking a daily multivitamin, not a specific supplement to meet a specific deficiency.
