The demand for puppies soared during lockdown, with Google searches increasing by 166 per cent, and breeders hiking up the prices of the most coveted breeds by 89 per cent. But with so many owners impulse-buying, animal charities fear many dogs will be abandoned as people either return to work or find themselves unable to afford the upkeep. Dogs Trust estimates that there could be 40,000 more stray and abandoned dogs in need of help in the next few months – so the charity is desperately looking for people to take care of abandoned dogs until their forever home is found. GET A SUNKISSED FACE STEP 1 Gently cleanse your face with a cloth and leave the skin clear before applying any fake tan. The benefit of of-the-moment tanning drops and waters is that you can add them to your daily moisturiser or night cream to build colour gradually. A new study revealed that more than three million people in the UK currently qualify for obesity surgery – costing up to £15,000 – meaning the NHS could be faced with a bill of a shocking £45billion. Trying to feed your children with food they enjoy, and that’s good for them, can be challenging at times. With school doors opening soon, it’s likely some parents will prefer their children to have a packed lunch to limit contact with others. It sounds sensible.
