That means it’s pretty much inevitable that soaps are going to recycle tales, whether their own or those of other shows. The way writers make them distinct is by putting their own spin on a story. My first time around on GH, my mother didn’t even know what role I was playing until I was about to start work, and I asked if I could tell her.
