DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK
We’ve seen a lot more interest in revolvers in recent years, but they never really went away. Some may have been languishing in nightstand drawers or remained unseen in ankle rigs, but they’ve been a consistent presence since before the American Civil War. Colt revived their snake guns just a few years back, Ruger has been producing their LCR snubbies for more than a decade at this point, and Smith & Wesson has been pumping out various forms of I- and J-frames for more than 125 years. It’s been said before that if you want to see what’s new in the gun industry, go look at old gun magazines.
