Bashing and buggies… those are hands-down my two favorite segments in the RC world. While many RC buggy enthusiasts focus on the heart-pounding excitement of competitive off-road racing, I prefer bashing my buggies on all terrains, always trying out new stunts and just plain going fast. That’s why I was excited to find out that Traxxas has recently released an updated version of their bash-worthy buggy, Bandit. While Bandit can be modified to take on competition-bred buggies, its true strength is flexed as an all-out basher. It’s made to go fast and absorb any abuse that’s thrown at it. For a single decade of F1 racing, the 1970s certainly had some of the most varied engineering we’ve seen on the grid. F1 at the time consisted of big dreams, big budgets and various unique car and aerodynamic designs. One of the wildest of these was the Tyrrell P34 6-wheeler. It also happens to be one of the most iconic and, in my opinion, coolest F1 car designs of all time.
