A new exhibition shows visitors that, when it comes A to prehistoric animals, dinosaurs aren’t the only stars. GIANTS, at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, features reconstructions of incredible creatures from Earth’s past.
There are nine animals in total: three almost-complete skeletons and six life-size models that contain bones. They all lived after dinosaurs went extinct. Katie Morton is the exhibitions manager at Birmingham Museums, an organisation that runs museums across Birmingham. She tells The Week Junior, “I certainly haven’t seen anything quite like it before… you normally seem to get a model, or you get the bones, but not so often combined.”
