Winter weather conditions can change fast, so be sure to verify weather conditions for your destination as well as your driving route before you leave home to avoid a surprise blizzard. 2 Check propane levels before you leave home. Propane may not last very long in super cold weather, so be sure to know how much you have and how far away the closest refill station is.
