The dramatic red sandstone formations in Red Rocks Park, near Denver, Colorado, provide the backdrop for the peloton on stage 3 of the Colorado Classic. Starting and finishing in Denver, the state capital, the 160km queen stage passed the striking outcrops on the penultimate day of the race. LottoNL-Jumbo's young neo-pro, Pascal Eenkhoorn, won the reduced sprint. He beat Israel Cycling Academy's Edwin Avila, whose saddle fell off in the final kilometre, and UHC's Gavin Mannion.
