You will need
Respirator or hood, coveralls, gloves, goggles, spray gun, compressor, wet-and-dry paper, panel wipe, tack cloths, paint and appropriate thinner/ hardener, polish.
Silicone?
If you suspect that silicones might be present (from silicone polishes, WD40, etc) add a fish-eye preventative to the paint.
Protect your lungs
Wear an organic vapour respirator for conventional paint or an air-fed hood for two-pack. Invisible mist lingers for a long time after spraying – so don’t remove your mask too soon.
Clean your gun
Strip down the gun after use and clean it with gun-clean or thinners.
It’s not good enough to just spray thinners through it.
