400g shell mussels
18 prawns with shells, deveined
400g chicken breast, sliced
100g chorizo, sliced
4 cups rice, boiled
1 red pepper, sliced
1 green pepper
1 onion, sliced
80g mushrooms, sliced
4 cloves of garlic, chopped
½ cup peas
2 tbsp chilli flakes
1 tbs smoked paprika
½ tbs cayenne pepper
1 tbs fresh oregano
1 tbs fresh parsley
1 tbs fresh thyme
1 tbs coarse black pepper
4 tbs olive oil
salt to taste
Boil the rice until almost done or tender. Strain and set aside.
In a paella pan, add the olive oil, chopped garlic, chilli flakes and chorizo.
Fry until the olive oil turns a nice red colour.
Add the sliced chicken breast, black pepper, salt, parsley, oregano, thyme, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper.
