I’d suffered from eczema all my life and had the odd breakout. But after moving to Ireland in July 2012 with Rory, 33, and son Alex, 6, my skin had got much worse.
Before, I’d had itchy patches in my elbow creases, but now, most of my top half was bright red.
The itching drove me mad. It was painful, too, as the patches cracked with the slightest movement.
The GP gave me steroid tablets and creams, but they were only for short-term…
