The first Genesis to enter the racing world, one of Luc Donckerwolke’s great dreams, will be the GMR-001 Hypercar this year, a hypercar whose acronym says it all: it is the first heavyweight born from the Genesis Magma Racing team. After a season of testing on some of Europe's most famous circuits – Paul Ricard, Magny-Cours, Aragón, Portimão – the team will participate with two cars in the WEC, the world endurance championship that for many is summed up in one name, Le Mans: eight races starting in March in Qatar, then in Imola, Spa, Le Mans, Austin, and concluding in Brazil, Japan, and Bahrain.
