I’m new to the whole sleek saloon thing. Is this the place to learn? Pretty much the perfect place, actually. Mercedes has long been a byword for large luxury cruisers, and this new CLA is set to do the same only on a slightly smaller scale. It’s built on the same platform as the A-Class hatchback but borrows its styling from the C-Class saloon. Add on a coupé-like rear end for a hint of sportiness and you get the idea.
