Claire Mann, managing director of South Western Railway, is returning to Transport for London as chief operating officer.
Mann (pictured) will be responsible for TfL’s directly-operated and contracted services - including the London Underground, Overground and Docklands Light Railway, as well as the bus and tram networks, cable car and cycle hire.
She will also have responsibility for the management of TfL roads and road infrastructure, security of the transport network, and regulation of the taxi and private hire industry.
