Onrush isn’t really a racing game. Yes, it involves the driving of vehicles around circuits, but whether you’re in front of, or behind, other vehicles doesn’t really matter. In fact, being in front can be a huge disadvantage, because it means you’ll have trouble destroying your enemies. But then, destroying other cars isn’t (always) the point of the game either.
The game is divided into four distinct modes, each of which feels like its own distinct game, and none of which require reaching any finish line first.
