Y&R executive producer/headwriter Charles Pratt Jr. has been tapped to helm the upcoming Fox series STAR. In taking over the showrunner and executive producer duties, Pratt replaces the musical drama’s former head, who departed due to creative differences with co-creators Lee Daniels (of EMPIRE and The Butler fame) and Tom Donaghy. Set in Atlanta, STAR follows three young women as they experience the ups and downs of the music industry on their group’s rise to fame. It is slated to premiere early next year. Veteran soap scribe Sally Sussman has been named Pratt’s successor as Y&R’s headwriter, marking her third stint with the CBS soap’s writing team.…

Not only will Tyler Christopher not return to GH as Nikolas after all, but Bryan Craig (Morgan) is leaving, too! In late spring, Christopher took a hiatus amidst contract renegotiations, but both sides were hopeful that a new deal could be hammered out.
