REMEMBER HOW LAST YEAR every day felt like a week? It was so disorienting to be stuck at home during the pandemic that it was hard to even track how long we’d been stuck there. A few months into this year—around when my son finally began going to school full-time—every day started to seem more like 45 minutes. The contrast was so stark, I felt as if I’d barely gotten to know 2021 before it was half over. As we get older, time does go faster, don’t you think?
