Jam Today: You once painted Van Gogh’s Starry Night on a dessert. What drew you to that specific painting? Akash Deshpande: I wanted to create an unconventional dessert, not just food on a plate, but a moment that combined my love for painting and my passion for food. If I had chosen a random or obscure painting, people wouldn’t recognise it, and it wouldn’t have the same resonance.
