Shiloh has been on the GENERAL HOSPITAL canvas long enough now that we feel as if we should have a better idea of what his agenda is. His cult seems to consist of too few people to take over the world (or even Port Charles), and, so far, Jason and Sam seem to pose a bigger threat to him than he does to them. After all, they’ve set multiple traps to expose the guy without any real evidence that he’s hiding anything, and We enjoyed watching the writers slowly reel all of the locals in to the big Ryan reveal, but we have to admit that Carly and Jahad son’s involvement felt entirely unnecessary. We get that Carly’s kidnapping was what propelled Jason to race off to Canada to rescue…

… or did the hospitalization of GH’s Jordan really help to solidify her relationship with Curtis? A lot of us fell for the couple when Jordan was being played by Vinessa Antoine. Since Briana Nicole Henry took over the part, much of the pair’s storyline has revolved around the serial killings. Sure, they had a nice, splashy wedding, but immediately afterwards, they found Kiki’s body in their marital bed. But as Jordan learned that she was suffering from kidney failure and would need dialysis until a donor could be found, Donnell Turner’s Curtis was right there by her side. How much fun is it whenever Robert, Anna and Finn share scenes? The trio’s deliciously deadpan banter works so beautifully because even when the men take subtle jabs at one another, you can tell that they actually respect each other. Drop Anna and Robert into a scene, and we’re immediately caught up in a wave of nostalgia. And although Finn is a relative newcomer compared to his companions, the three play together so well, it’s as if they’ve been doing it for decades. Meanwhile, the show has made great use of Tristan Rogers’ latest stint as Robert by sliding him not only into the Anna/Finn story but having him work with Sonny as well. Though these men of very different action have never been tight, they share a strong connection…

GH Hot Topic: Is It Time For A Real Jason/Sam Reunion? OUR TAKE We’re big fans of soaps taking their time to tell stories. When fans get impatient for a story to end or a couple to reunite, we advocate patience. “Soaps are a marathon,” we remind them, “not a sprint.” That said… even we’re frustrated with the situation between GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Jason and Sam. After taking an entire year to reunite Sam and Jason — which seemed almost inevitable from the moment Steve Burton returned to the show — the writers then immediately had the pair pretend to be on the outs in order to bring down Shiloh. Considering that she’s part of DAYS’ core Horton family, surely we haven’t seen the last of Abigail. But this week on GENERAL HOSPITAL, he and Sonny return to find that, in their absence, a few things have changed… and not necessarily for the better! A CarSon Reunion Leaving Carly to join the search for Dante was a difficult decision for Sonny. After all, she’d only just told him that they are expecting! But he knew that he had to do whatever it took to bring Dante home, especially as Lulu continued to recover from Ryan’s attack. But what Sonny could never have imagined was just how drawn into Ryan’s deadly web Carly would become! Once back home, Sonny is finally reunited with his beloved wife……

Many viewers (and several Port Charles residents) are still struggling to accept the idea of Maxie and Peter becoming a couple. Obviously, a lot of this has to do with the massive amount of baggage that Peter carries with regards to his past agenda and involvement in Nathan’s death. Others, however, literally wish the character had never been born, still believing that the Anna-seduced-Faison revelation tainted the heroine and that Peter’s very existence is a constant reminder of that unpopular retcon of her history. As we write this, it’s looking more and more as if that unpleasant incident from Anna’s past might possibly be pawned off on twin sis Alex. When teen Sam found her mentally challenged brother, Danny, locked in their mom’s basement, she took him under her wing and promised to care for him — which she did by conning men out of their money. Years later, Jason paid to have Danny attend a special school in Hawaii. Thinking Sam was trying to get rid of him, Danny didn’t talk to his sister for a while.
