The heavily polluted Jukskei etches a path through Johannesburg's industrial areas and its crowded townships. It bears decades of human waste and industrial pollution. What many don't realise is the river plots its course to the Hartebeespoort Dam and much further onwards, gaining momentum to form a natural boundary between South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique.
