Capitec Bank Holdings’ directors said they expect headline earnings per share (HEPS) to increase between 22% and 27% in the six months to August 31, which represents another strong performance compared with its competitor banks. A brazen overnight theft at the FOMO Fine Art Gallery in Pringle Bay has stripped the space of seven sculptures worth more than R1million and left an even greater sentimental wound. All 66 municipal cemeteries in the city reached full capacity in 2020, driven by rapid urbanisation, historical mortality surges, and a strong cultural and religious preference for burial over cremation.
