Neither of us had been there before.
When we met three years earlier, we had bonded over our love for the great outdoors.
On this particular weekend, we’d hired a shepherd’s hut to stay in for the night, just the two of us.
My daughters, Tia, 17, Freya, 12, and Bella, nine, were with their dad for the weekend.
