Even with the GDSF and Onslow Park rallies off, there were still things going on in the UK, the big rally over the weekend being the Hellingly Festival of Transport, near Eastbourne, East Sussex. It saw over 1,000 vehicles attend, including 24 full size steamers, besides commercial vehicles, motorcycles, cars, models and the biggest selection of stationary engines out this year. However, there is of course so much more at this show. For example, the Casey family’s Wallis & Steevens Oil Bath tractor from east Kent made its public event debut at the show and was very much appreciated by the crowd.
