Nintendo Switch Breaks Records in Australia! The Switch just had the best launch of any Nintendo console ever in Australia, doing better in its first week than the Wii did! It’s done so well worldwide that Nintendo is doubling production to avoid shortages – the Switch is going to do WAY better than the Wii U did! New combos found in Street Fighter 2! 26 years after release, Street Fighter 2 still holds some secrets! Yooka-Laylee Gameplay: Yooka-Laylee is based on some of the childhood favourites of the Mania crew, most notably Banjo-Kazooie (which is available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and still totally AWSM). It’s a game from a small indie team that includes many of Banjo’s original creators, so the game feels a lot like that old classic! You play as Yooka, a chameleon, whose mate Laylee the bat hangs onto his shoulder and helps him out with attacks and long jumps! You travel between different huge, open levels and search out the ‘Pagies’, mystical book pages that help you unlock new levels, or expand old ones! This game has been out in Japan since 2014, but we’re stoked to finally get it here! Puyo Puyo Tetris combines two of the best puzzle franchises out there, with five different modes that change the gameplay heaps! We loved Swap mode - during play you swap between which game you’re playing, which means you need to change your thinking and strategies constantly! Mario Sports Superstars Gameplay: Mario’s a sport master – in Sports Superstars, he’s a champion at baseball, tennis, soccer, golf, and horse riding! We really dig most of these, and had a great time pitting our mate Waluigi against the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom! Soccer is the weakest of the bunch, with some loose controls, but we enjoyed the others! Horse racing is really unique, as you need to watch your stamina and time your boosts, plus you get to look after your horse outside the races!
