THE KIMBERLEY police have requested the public’s assistance in identifying the body of a man who was found hanging from a tree in Barkly Road in Bloemanda on November 27. Police spokesperson Sergeant Timothy Sam said a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death and whether any foul play was involved in the matter. “The deceased was wearing a blue and grey coloured overall, with dark spectacles. THE SMALL Northern Cape town of Ritchie crowned 16-year-old Xoliswa Mokwang as its first “Face of Ritchie” pageant ambassador. The event on November 25 was organised by Gordon Taweni with the aim of empowering the young people of Ritchie and restoring their hope. Born in Ritchie, Taweni is a professional model, author, motivational speaker, talent scout and life coach who relocated to Johannesburg.
