Often, we see quotes or captions on social media reminding us to be grateful, and telling us to show gratitude daily. There are gratitude journals where one can write down daily reminders of the things that bring them joy and happiness. While I agree that we should all be thankful and show gratitude to keep positive, sometimes it’s also OK to be frustrated. The key is to not let that frustration get the best of you. As I get older, I truly feel the impact of life getting tougher—especially these days with inflation and the cost of living climbing quicker than my paycheck can keep up. That’s frustrating.
