Neil Kinnock’s wife Glenys was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2017, and died last December at the age of 79, says Decca Aitkenhead in The Sunday Times. At times, her decline was barely perceptible. Four years ago, he says, “if you had had a 20-minute conversation with her, she would have managed to sustain the fiction of being Glenys.
