THE NORTHERN Cape provincial government yesterday entered into a memorandum of agreement with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the R15 million that will be used for flood relief in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District and Covid-19 relief. Infrastructure was damaged while many residents were left destitute following heavy rains that fell in the Province during December and January. The relief funds will be administered by the church throughout the Province, together with provincial government.
