My husband James was my soulmate.
Together since I was 20, we were made for each other.
Always a family man, James did everything for me and our two daughters.
But in 2012, something changed.
If I’d make plans to go out with friends, he’d shy away.
‘I don’t fancy it, ’ he’d say.
Not like him at all.
James was a workaholic, loved being an electrician.
But he was struggling at work, too.
One morning, in 2014, he turned to me in tears.
‘I can’t go in today, ’ he said, voice trembling.
That’s when it all poured out. He’d become forgetful, withdrawn, and was even developing a tremor.
