Kaye Adams certainly likes to keep busy. Not content with hosting lunchtime chat show Loose Women, the popular presenter also has a regular radio programme and, three years ago, launched her own podcast, How to be 60. A little boy won first place at Crufts – becoming the youngest dog handler at the renowned dog show. Freddie Osborne, a six-year-old from Staffordshire, had special permission to skip school for the competition, where his family cheered him on. ‘Back in 2018 I had uncontrolled type 2 diabetes and was under threat of having to take insulin. Even if you haven't experienced hearing issues, chances are you know someone who has. ‘Over half the population aged 55 or over have hearing loss,’ says Richard McKearney, an audiologist, and audiology advisor at RNID (rnid.org.uk). ‘The most common cause is age-related hearing loss, which is caused by changes that happen to the cochlea (part of the ear that plays a key role in hearing) over time. Ignoring the pouring rain, Neelam helped to set up gazebos and made sure the platters of food were carefully laid out.
